A noise barrier (sound wall, sound barrier) is an exterior structure designed to protect inhabitants from noise pollution. Noise barriers are the most effective method of mitigating roadway, railway, and industrial noise sources. A noise barrier could be made from concrete, sandwich panels, polycarbonate or combination of these materials. TSP has designed and manufactured its proprietary noise barrier and installed more than 12 km of it in Tehran last year.
